Growing up as a little girl in her
mother’s hairstylist studio, Athena always knew that makeup and hairstyling was
one of her hidden talents. As she watched her mother work on her mother's
clients, she would have a female manikin head in front of her to play with. This
manikin became her best friend for many years after until she started working on
her friends and family. She admired her mother’s work and her mother's
dedication to her mom's clients and beauty. It didn’t matter if her mom's
clients wanted big hair, small hair, curly or looped up, her mother was always
able to put smiles on her client’s faces after she was done.
This created the foundation for her interest and talents in hairstyling and
makeup work. Athena enjoys seeing her clients transform into a naturally
beautiful woman for the special occasions in her life. Being a woman herself,
she understands the need to look beautiful as a bride, bridesmaid, birthday
girl, model, actress, or beauty pageant contestant. More specifically, as an
Asian American woman, she understands the features of our face and very
experienced in applying makeup for a natural yet beautiful glow.
Athena has a deep passion in bringing out the beauty in her clients. She always
puts her clients first and listens to what they prefer. She has had much
experience with doing hair and makeup for models and brides. Her expertise with
makeup lies in the relevantly new concept of airbrush. According to
Ezinearticles.com, “Airbrush creates a flawless face - almost as if you took
your picture and ran it through Photoshop.” Athena has adopted this method of
applying makeup for few years now and her clients are always very impressed with
the results. Incredibly, Airbrush can hide any features that you dislike yet
keeping your face and pores feeling light.
As she has said many times before, she enjoys and loves what she does very much!
Not only she gets to make people smile, but she also gets a chance to interact
with many wonderful and amazing people out there. There are many important and
special occasions in one’s life where they would like to look beautiful and
glamorous. Weddings, Modeling, Birthdays, Parties, all these events are perfect
occasions for ladies to get dressed up and enjoy the night being beautiful and
