When should I schedule a trial?
First and foremost, congratulations on your upcoming wedding! You are starting to plan what is to be one of the most important days of your life. As a suggestion, you should book your hair and makeup artist as soon as possible to reserve them for your wedding date. Our brides typically book their trials 6 months prior to their wedding day.
Do I really need to have a trial?
If circumstances don’t allow you to have a makeup and hair trial, we are still more then happy to assist you on your wedding day. In this case, we would like to request that you send us some pictures of different hair and make-up styles so we can have a better understanding of what your preferences are on your wedding date.
How many looks can I have on the trial day?
We will go through your favorite hair or make-up styles with you to determine which style is going to look the best based on many different factors. We will try to narrow it down to one particular style which best suits you.
How long does a trial take?
The trial session is usually 2½ to 3 hours. If you require additional time to try other looks, the hourly fee is $50.
What if am not happy at the end of my trial session?
The most important part of the trial session is open and honest. We truly want you to be happy and encourage you to be honest. You won’t hurt anyone’s feelings. Speak up, we are here to help. In the rare case that you are completely unhappy with your trial, you are not obligated to book us for your wedding day.
Do you offer large party discounts?
We do not offer discounts. Accommodating a large party requires the help of an assistant. Assistants work just as hard as your hair stylist and make-up artist to make your wedding day run as smoothly as possible and deserve to be compensated as much. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.
I never wear makeup, will I still look like me?
We definitely understand the need to feel comfortable while putting your best features forward. Our stylists always take into consideration each bride’s personal style when selecting a wedding day look. We want to find that happy medium between looking flawless for your pictures and feeling beautiful for your family and friends. That’s going to mean something different for everyone. Our goal as your make-up and hair artist is to find that perfect look for you.
Do Makeup Artists provide touch up kits?
We usually tell brides to buy their own lipstick, mascara, and powder compact for touching up because those items shouldn't be shared. Sometimes we’ll give them a small container with the lipstick color we’ve applied on them just in case they need to touch up their lips and face after we leave. Blotting paper is actually better than powdering because powdering too much can make your skin start to look chalky. If you're really worried about ruining your makeup if you do your own touch-ups, it's best to hire us for your entire wedding day. After all, it's the day, you’re most important day! We'll make you feel like the princess you know you are!

Will my makeup last the whole day?
Yes! The professional makeup we use will last up to 12 hours. However, expect the usual minor touch-ups such as replenishing your lipstick and gently blotting any shine from your face once in a while.
I don’t wear a lot of make-up but I still want to look good without looking and
feeling “made up”
